Did Finnish people invent the chewing gum?

Surfing at the same site where the test of the text below is, I found this link. We Finns are not so famous abroad. But I have heard that for example in Korea people know that xylitol is invented in Finland...now I started wondering, that maybe we invented also the gum. :) An archaeologust found 5000 years old gum in Finland. Isn't this huge news? :D We may not have temples and very old castles etc. But we do have the gum.

Sorry to dissappoint you but we find those things all the time. I don't understand how it ended up in the news. That the real miracle. ;)
